pexels-photo-791058.jpeg“Soon and very soon, we are going to see the KING. Soon and very soon, we are going to see the KING. Soon and very soon, we are going to see the KING! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! We are going to see the KING!” Andraé Crouch 1976

This song played loudly in my mind as my feet rested against the floor last Monday morning. I walked through the house singing it as I opened the curtains to allow the new days sunlight in. I paused for a moment to watch the sun rise over the trees and asked the LORD, “Will YOU come this day?” I proceeded to sing this chorus over and over as I woke the children for their chores and studies.img_1060

I began to wonder why this particular song was on my heart and my mind? I decided to do some research on this song. This song was written in 1976 (the year I was born) by Andraé Crouch in Los Angeles, California. It’s a simple song. It grabbed my heart a very long time ago. The song continues with:

“No more crying there, We are going to see the KING! No more crying there, we are going to see the KING! No more crying there, we are going to see the KING! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! We are going to see the KING! No More dying there, we are going to see the KING! No more dying there, we are going to see the KING! Mo more dying there, we are going to see the KING! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! We are going to see the KING!” Andraé Crouch 1976 Soon and Very Soon

As time does, it slips away. Recently it seems as though I need to catch up. I’ve dropped the ball and allowed other things to take priority in life. Tomorrow is not promised, yesterday is in the past and today is a present, a gift from the GOD of all creation. How will we receive this present gift? What will we do with it?

Matthew 24:36-42 NKJV

“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.

I Thessalonians 5:2 NKJV ‘For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.

Romans 10:8-10 NKJV ‘But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Prayer for our state and boarders.

The picture above was taken in Annapolis, Maryland. My husband, Marcia Eldreth and myself traveled down to the capital of Maryland on November 18, 2017 to pray for our state along with individuals from different counties from the state. There were some counties who couldn’t make it in, however the LORD provided enough folks to stand in holding those counties flags and pray over those counties as well. No one was left out that day.

Flags hold a meaning and a definition that sometimes words cannot express. Not everyone understands what their state flag stands for let alone that they have county flags and the meanings of those. I’m not going to focus on state or county or even country flags today. However one should take the time to do the research on their state flag and seals…Maryland’s is very interesting. WOW!!! Information central!!!

The big white flag in this picture is called “Our LORD’s Banner” also known as the U.S. Christian Flag, created by Marcia Eldreth. This flag is special to me because it declares The Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Great Commission given to the disciples of Jesus in Matthew 28:19; not only does it declare the Gospel it also is a warning, a warning of deception by man.

This flag is specific to the United States for this time in HIStory. There is a great deception sweeping across this nation. I sit back and watch all the legalizing of immoralities unfolding. (Isaiah 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;) Interceding with prayer as much as possible. Taking this flag literally from coast to coast praying against the evil spirits that have taken over this land.

At some point, as a Christian, one knows that the blessings stop. The Day of The LORD will come and judgement will fall upon the land and its people.

Matthew 24:4&14 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no man deceives you. ……. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all nations, and then the end will come.”

Exodus 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

After watching some of the news and technology reports my internal sirens are blaring, “WARNING! WARNING! WARNING!” All of this talk about artificial intelligence for decades and now here it is in real-time. Seriously consider the outcome. God has specifically told us, “not to make any likeness of any thing that is in heaven or that is in the earth beneath”. There will be serious consequences to the AI movement, humanism, consequences beyond human comprehension.

Within these video links posted below are some disturbing ideas. I am still trying to comprehend the entire concept of placing ones conscience on a downloadable device that can be inserted into a walking talking being. I am not sure that I would ever want someone or some thing else to have that much power over me unless HE is a JUST GOD. Imagine every wrong, every right, every thought, every feeling ever experienced in someone else’s hands. I believe it to be unethical for man to play GOD.

Here are two links that I have watched and prayed over.

For those of us who believe in Jesus Christ we need to get back to business and our commission: To spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

For those of you who may not know of Jesus or do know and have been wavering now is the time to jump on board and begin your relationship with Jesus Christ. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, II Corinthians 10:3-5

This is my calling. Watchman on the wall, my duty and obligation.

Ezekiel 33:3-5…..when he sees the sword coming upon the land, if he blows the trumpet and warns the people, then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, if the sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be on his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, but did not take warning; his blood shall be upon himself. But he who takes warning will save his life.

Man, Are We Playing GOD?

I saw this quote today and thought this is perfect:

Every morning starts a new page in your story. Make it a great one today.

I know I try to plan out my life each day and stay on my course, but I fail and have to remember what the Lord say’s:   Many are the plans in a man’s heart, But it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails. Proverbs 19:21.

What a beautiful reminder that our Lord is in complete control of our lives and He will make our day great if we surrender and allow Him to direct our path each day.

Happy Tuesday!

All to often we get into such a routine that we forget the small blessings we receive throughout our day. I have to remind myself all to often to: Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayers. Romans 12:12.

As the day ends

Here we are in a new day. The sun shining so bright reflecting off the snow. Cold snap coming to a brief yet welcomed end. Enjoying some words from Jesus, a cup of coffee and the silence before the order ends and chaos begins.

As I reflect a thought comes to mind, “back in the day they had multi-generational homes”. Guess what?! They have them today. A multi-generation home, it’s a blessing, it’s trying, it’s fun and it teaches grace, mercy, forgiveness, joy, endurance, perseverance, long-suffering.

Somewhere along the way the value of a multi-generational household has been lost to the hustle and bustle of this ever-changing, rapid paced world. The first family that crosses my mind would be Noah on the Ark. Could you imagine?

Oh, LORD. May I just stop there and say, Thank You Lord Jesus for my “Ark” being a house full of people to manage instead of animals.

All be it, feels like a barnyard sometimes. Praise the LORD! Constantly having to remind ourselves of the blessings that we have been given and to count them one by one. Modern day conveniences of on demand hot water heaters breaking. Having the choice to either cuss and scream at it or praise the Lord for the cold running water and be able to drink that water today and have the finances to fix the hot water tomorrow.

Perspective is a choice to see blessings instead of cursing.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NKJV Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Please forgive me if this seems a mess. For what is before you is my first attempt at a blog. No training. All God led. Thank you for your patience as you journey with me in my God given talents. You are appreciated and loved. May God bless you and draw you near to Him, revealing Himself to you. You are loved.

God Bless

We were created in Gods (El, Elohim) image according to the book of Genesis located in The Holy Bible or in the Torah. That is what writing helps people do. God (El, Elohim) created and saw that it was good. Therefore it must mean that some type of fulfillment comes from creating.

There is a book that I am currently reading called, Called to Create” by Jordan Raynor. I’ve only read the introduction and my mind is blown. Folks let’s get it together and reshape our minds. Reinvent the word invention.

Join me in my blog journey.
